Change

There are so many things I thought I'd never know
So many things I thought I'd never experience
So much of the world to see that my eyes would never see
Emotions to feel, and pain to heal and joys and dreams that all become real
Things on top of things that are so distant to me
All things I'd thought could never be
Than something changed and there was you
And no, I still don't know anything more than I did before
But the difference is now, I believe
I know I will experience them all
In time
